Photographed in the North of Essarouira in Morocco. This charming and completely mad small dwelling by the sea and close to a massive junk market was an absolute must for my 3D collage (even the bushes are embossed with a Biro to give them a leafy texture). Encased in a perspex box measuring 60X43X8cm.
The large version of this incredible aerial view of Dubai generously donated by Bachir Moukarsel - an award winning drone photographer (https://www.bachirmoukarzel.me)The results of raising these towering building into the air, supported by colourful wedges are simply amazing. Size: 93X60X11cm. Encased in a Perspex box.
Intricate 3 dimensional interpretation of a department store. prints of the image are finely cut with a scalpel, mounted on to stiff backing card and layered together using foam board to (invisibly) separate the layers until the maximum three dimensional effect id achieved. At first sight this was a pretty flat looking image - until you look into all the details then gradually it builds up and up! Encased in a Perspex case 81X59X7cm.
A Trullo farmhouse in the Apulia region of Southern Italy with its unique conical slate roofs I have developed various techniques like burnishing and modeling the printed paper so the plants and buildings are textured and allowed to stand out in relief to create stunning 3D illusions. Feels like you're actually there! 81X51X8cm.
72 apartments make up this section of building - each tells its own story and each one has a balcony with all manner of possessions on display. They have all been considered, the elements cut out at least twice then layered to create a three dimensional effect. 93X69X8cm. Encased in a Perspex box.
